MARK CHATINSKY - Partner

Since 1997 Mr. Chatinsky has been advising and investing in start up companies.

Mark started his first company, Audio Services Corp., in 1980 to provide professional audio equipment to the film and television industries. In 1984, he sold that firm and immediately founded a new one, ASC Video. ASC’s groundbreaking products are widely credited with revolutionizing television broadcasting and video post-production. The company’s unique hardware and software were combined to produce one of the industry’s first PC-based editing systems. In 1989, ASC started development of what was to become the first video server for broadcast television, the Virtual Recorder. The “VR” has since become the industry standard for television and news and is currently being used by companies like Time-Warner, CNN, ABC and CBS.
